A bookshop dares to take the plunge!

A superb bookshop, L'Ecume des Sucs in Yssingeaux (sub-prefecture of the 43 department), has committed to always having a copy of the collection labelled Le Cercle de la Différence. A display case is dedicated to the authors and illustrators (from 20 July to 20 August) and a shelf containing the 16 books in the collection (indicated by an easel displaying the label logo) is regularly restocked. This should inspire other bookshops to make room for our authors too... DIFFERENT, in the sense that they are blind, visually impaired, deaf or have reduced mobility.

LETTER TO BOOKSELLERS
A label that encourages inclusion

As a member of the Syndicat national de l'Édition (SNE), Renaissens, which specialises in publishing disabled authors, is delighted to introduce you to its label:

The Circle of Difference
Registered with the INPI, its aim is to achieve national recognition and attract customers to the special nature of the works grouped together under this banner: the authors are blind, partially sighted, deaf, deprived of their motor skills, etc. (see our catalogue: https://www.renaissens-editions.fr/catalogue/).

This small step for booksellers is a very big step for disability
By ordering the complete collection (€127), booksellers are making a commitment to the integration of disabled people. He/she is offering our authors the chance to occupy the public space in a lasting way: difference is becoming commonplace, but the feat endures.

The commitment of young people: aged 9 to 20, they design the covers
The Cercle de la Différence is also the commitment of a young generation that feels concerned and puts all its talent at the service of disability.
The international competition for the best cover is a Renaissens project, which is both intergenerational (an adult disabled author is paired with a young able-bodied illustrator) and intercultural (the Alliances Françaises abroad provide support).
By displaying our books in your sales area, you are promoting the creativity of our young people.

Simple steps
The process is simple: all the books in the collection are listed in the booksellers' databases and distributed by Sodis. All you have to do is order them from Dilicom or negotiate directly with the BOD printer to obtain better margins. Return of unsold books: up to 10 books per title.
(info@bod.fr / 03 72 88 16 00 - ask for Mrs Müeller)

Visibility: table easels
By filling in the form BELOW, to show your interest in our action, you will receive table easels in A5 or A6 format.
This easel also provides information about the drawing competition. The creation of a cardboard display unit is currently under consideration.

Thank you in advance for your commitment.
